What is a hosting panel?
A shared hosting is hosting shared with other users. It is the most popular form of traditional web hosting.
When it comes to shared hosting servers, HosTeam uses CloudLinux system. It is a specially prepared Linux distribution used for hosting purposes.

The panel data are sent via email during the registration.
In order to retrieve the password to the Client Panel – we use the ‘password reminder’ option.
In order to retrieve the password to the mailbox, FTP or data base – we use the hosting panel and change the password into a new one for a given account, data base etc.
Yes, you can always transfer to a higher service package. We calculate that as follows:
NAD = New Subscription/the number of days within a subscription period
OAD = Current Subscription/ the number of days within a subscription period
Extra charge per day = NAD-OAD
Extra charge per day x the number of days till the end of the current subscription period = extra charge to be paid.

In order to access your mailbox via the Internet browser, you have to go to https://webmail.hosteam.pl or click the MAIL icon at http://hosteam.pl.
To log in, write your email address in the NAME field, and the current mailbox password in the PASSWORD field and next click Log In.
The most frequent reason is an incorrect configured email program or the problem with the Internet connection.
The proper configuration of mail applications is described in the section HELP- HERE.
Please make sure that you have configured your email account. Properly configured account should have the following settings:
- incoming mail (POP3/IMAP): - mail.hosteam.pl
- outgoing mail (SMTP): - mail.hosteam.pl
- server needs authorization.
- outgoing mail (SMTP): 465 – tick server requires a secure connection (SSL),
- incoming mail (POP3/IMAP): 995 – tick server requires a secure connection (SSL).
A hosting panel is a place found at https://htpanel.hosteam.pl, where we can create and modify email accounts, FTP accounts, data bases or passwords to the all mentioned above. You can also manage your domains in this panel.
