Report illegal content

The notice-and-action mechanism of art. 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 — the Digital Services Act (DSA).

If you believe that content in a service hosted by HosTeam is illegal, you can report it with the form below. The mechanism covers content we store at our customers’ request: websites, files, mail and VPS servers.

What a notice must contain (art. 16(2) DSA):

  1. an explanation of why you consider the content illegal — the facts, and what law or whose rights it breaks;
  2. the exact location of the content (the full URL), and for content on a VPS also the server’s IP address;
  3. your name or entity name and e-mail address (not required for notices of child sexual abuse material, which may be anonymous);
  4. a statement that you believe in good faith that the information in the notice is accurate and complete.

What happens next. We confirm receipt at the address given and process the notice in a timely, diligent and objective manner. We inform you of the decision and its reasons by e-mail, with the redress available: a reply with further information, a complaint to the Digital Services Coordinator (the President of the Office of Electronic Communications, UKE), and the courts. The customer whose content the notice concerns receives a statement of reasons for any action taken (art. 17), but does not learn who reported.

What this form does not cover. Domains for which we only run DNS or the registration are not content hosted by us — the form tells you so at once. Spam and attacks from our network go to [email protected].

Point of contact (art. 11 and 12 DSA): [email protected] — for Member State authorities, the Commission and the Board, and for recipients of the service. We communicate in Polish and English.

Notice form

Fields marked with an asterisk are required by art. 16 DSA.

One full address per line — a bare domain does not identify the content (art. 16(2)(b)).

When the content sits on a VPS: the address the site answers from.

Enough for the illegality to be seen without a detailed legal examination (art. 16(2)(a)). 100 more characters.

The reporter's data is processed to handle the notice (a legal obligation, art. 16 DSA). The reported party does not learn from us who reported. Privacy policy
